Question : I am 22 years old and had my first broken bone, a XXXXXXX Fracture. I am a wondering if you think it will require surgery. Non-smoker, no alcohol, try to eat healthy, exercise three times a week.

I have seen the attached X-ray. The fracture is not much displaced. This can heal with conservative treatment. You can have a cast on for 3-4 weeks. This will not require a surgical fixation. Please do not worry.
