Brief Answer:
Your chest x ray suggest pneumonia in right lung probably in the middle lobe

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. The chest x ray is reported to shows an abnormal shadow in the right side of chest next to the right heart border. This is the location of right lung middle lobe. The abnormal shadow is because of consolidation which is a lung infection. Your right lung middle lobe probably has a pneumonia infection. May I know your symptom profile - the reason why the tests were performed?

2. The infection can be treated with a short course of antibiotics and hope your doctor has prescribed it for your pneumonia after seeing the chest x ray report.

3. Usually the symptoms will improve in 7 to 10 days and you will recover soon and patients of pneumonia are suggested to do another x ray after 10 days of treatment to confirm resolution of the infection.

Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.
