What Does This Anomaly Scan Report Indicate?

Posted on Fri, 4 Nov 2016
Question: Hi,
We went for an anomaly scan this week. My wife is in her 20th week. 19+3. Everything went well, growth of the baby was normal except for the low blood flow comments from the scan specialist. Her comments like "it's going to trouble us" and "its a concern" kind of freaked us out. Attaching the reports. Please let me know if it's such a huge concern or can be treated well.?

Brief Answer:
Sign of IUGR

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX Thanks for writing to us with your health query. Restricted blood flow is not a good sign, it predicts intra uterine growth retardation. You need regular follow up scans as advised. Take tab Aspirin 75 mg or as prescribed by your doctor. Regards Dr Manisha Jain.
