Brief Answer:
Dengue fever

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

You have mild anemia (Hemoglobin 9.2G%),Leucopenia (TLC-2700/c mm) and low platelet count or thrombo-cytopenia (platelet count 132000/c mm)-common in dengue fever. Since it is a viral fever and there is no effective antiviral drug available ,treatment is essentially supportive & symptomatic including bed rest, oral fluids and paracetamol for fever.
Avoid aspirin.
It takes about 5-7 days for recovery. However one needs to be under close supervision of doctor with repeated platelet and PCV (Packed cell volume) monitoring.

Brief Answer:
Dengue fever & natural cure

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

You can take coconut water as it contains electrolytes and it is natural drink. You can also take fruit jiuces like pomegranate as it contains plenty of vitamin C,K & folate but not to take seeds or rind.
There is some report that papaya leaf juice may help a patient suffering from dengue to recover.
However there are no scientific studies to prove that papaya plant leaves can cure dengue or increase the blood platelet count.
However patients taking papaya leaf juice without even treating doctor's knowledge as food supplement has not shown any adverse effects on the course of the illness.
Giloy juice is effective in Influenza (viral infections) and is a well-known ayurvedic medicine.
Since there is no known ant-viral drug for Dengue ,natural herbs or products with possible anti-viral properties are taken and well-tolerated.

Brief Answer:
Dengue fever

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Your platelet count has fallen (last report not dated-74,000/c mm) i.e thrombocytopenia (platelet <100,000/c mm) but since you have not mentioned PCV/hematocrit value ,degree of hemoconcentration cannot be estimated. In other words how much fluid IV or oral is needed is determined by PCV.
If possible post both the blood reports first and last one.
In milder cases of severe dengue thrombocytopenia (<100,000/μL), and
hemoconcentration are detected 2–5 days after the onset of typical
dengue, usually at the time of defervescence.
You need to repeat platelet & PCV at regular intervals till signs of recovery.
Usually single donor platelet is given if platelet falls below 20,000/ c mm.
Do you have any rash?
Most patients with severe dengue respond well to supportive therapy.
