What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

Question: wife has 3.8 glubulin blood level3.8 up range 2.0- 3.7 range her albumin/gloubin ratio ratio is 1.0 she had a mild heart attack about 3 weeks ago after having total knee replacement a hernia operation 90 after her knee sugary. she also takes blood thinner
Question : what do you think blood levels mean? any cancer ? or is it heart related any thing serious?. (we see her cardiologist in AM)
or is the ratio 1.0 balance out with the 3.8? thank you

By itself, this result does not indicate any cancer. Though the ratio is bit low, the albumin is pretty normal. Only the globulin is a bit high. This can be because of a non-specific reaction of the body to recent stress situations like heart attack and surgeries.

I don't think there is anything serious. We may have to keep her on follow-up to see if the globulin is rising further. If it rises further on serial evaluations, then further testing will be required.
