Brief Answer:
I need further details.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have reviewed your reports.

There are two problems:
1. Liver Enzyme SGPT is slightly raised.
2. Your LDL is slightly raised.

SGPT denotes liver function.
LDL denotes cholesterol.

I would like to know:
1. Why did you get tested? Want to know if you have any problem or you just got investigated routinely.
2. Do you consume alcohol? If yes how much?
3. Do you smoke?
4. Any past history of Jaundice?
5. Are you overweight?
6. Are you taking any medication for any problem?

Revert with these details, so that i can guide you towards the essential actions required for the problems in reports.

Brief Answer:
Stop Alcohol and Smoking.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
The derangements are due to your alcohol consumption and smoking.
In any case you have to stop both of them.
Else this would further harm your liver and would further derange your cholesterol profile.

At the moment, I don't see any need for treatment. However you should make sure you stop alcohol consumption and smoking at the earliest.

As far as your second query is concerned, I would like to see the photograph to give any comment.

Stay Healthy.

It was formed 4 five years back. No pain. I consulted doctor and he had given me tablets. It disappeared after that. Now again it has been developed. See photograph attached.

As per your advice I have to stop smoking and alcohol immediately. I am hereby taking oath that I will stop smoking. Even I don't find any fun in smoking. Adding to this please relax the constraints of "stop drinking". Please allow some limit which I can follow regularly. Otherwise I will feel alone. It is my very earnest request to you to allow me some pegs (pls. indicate in mililitre) at night before dinner. Pls. Pls. Pls.

Please note that I regularly swim for 150 meter every day. will it give me some relaxation in drinking. I am ready to do cycling also as per your advice. These two physical exercises are readily available to me.

Is My liver condition is terribly bad. I am worried.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I have seen the photograph. This seems to be sebaceous cyst. This would require excision.
I am very glad to know that you have decided to quit smoking. I am very happy to see your will.
As far as your liver is concerned your liver functions are not severy deranged. I don't know the status of your liver. It might vary from normal to fatty liver.
Being a doctor I won't advice you to consume alcohol.
In general 60ml per week you can consume that is considered safe. But usually it is difficult to control on this quantity.
I would suggest you to modify it to take 60 ml only on weekends for relaxation purpose.
This is my best advice for you.
If you have any further query please ask me else close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.
