                                            Question : what does NCCT Brain stands for with following as the observation of the report
1 Lacunar infarct in right thalamic region
2 infarct noted in left ganglion region
3 gliotic area seen in left occipital region
4 age related atrophic changes seen

NCCT Brain shows multiple lacunar(small) infarcts along with age-related atrophy.
Conditions like Hypertension,Diabetes or vasculitis may predispose to lacunar infarcts.

1. Prostate gland detected in whole abdominal sonography
2. Multiple cysts on both side of the kidney
3. Diabetic
And following are the symptoms:-
1. Loss of recognition and tend to forget things
2. Unable to move and speak for the past 4 days
3. Difficulty in food intake as well
4. Unusual fear and gets surprised frequently
my question is regarding the appropriate medical treatment for my grandfather and any referral required. Also please let me know, based on the reports which i have uploaded, any future medical problem if any and corresponding remedy.

Thanks for being in follow up and providing further details.
Following management points are to be stressed upon-
1)Medicines-Antiplatelet drugs(Ecosprin) along with statins(atorvastatin)are to be continued forever,unless some doctor asks to stop them.
2)Proper control and treatment of Diabetes should be ensured.
3)He should be on adequate fluids in addition to medicines.
4)Physical exercise(like jogging) to be promoted.
5)Diabetic diet chart should be strictly followed.
6)Stop smoking( if applicable)
