Question : Hello,

My cervical spine x-ray with doctor's impressions is attached. I have a chronic neck pain, pain when rotating my neck to the sides, especially the right side of my neck is more stiff and painful when moving to the right side; since 2010. Sometimes I feel neck/shoulder pain after long hours of sitting. I got MRI images, chiro and physical thrapies for 2 months with various specialists. I still don't know what is the cause of my neck pain and how to treat it.

Brief Answer:
Due to loss of lordosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have a loss of cervical lordosis due to postural changes that is responsible for the pain that you are having.
1. Avoid pillows,
2. Continue the same exercises,
3. Avoid prolonged sitting / leaning forward/ 2 wheeler driving for long distances.
A course of Muscle relaxants, interferential therapy (IFT) and/or Intermittent Cervical Traction (ICT) for a week followed by exercises will help you. If the problem persists, then plan for MRI of your cervical spine.
I hope this answers your query.
