Brief Answer:
It can be presumptive diagnosis, not confirmed until proven on cultures

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately. Based on the history you have shared, it is still jot obvious as CT scan can just give differential diagnosis and any cavity in lungs can be considered as fungal or chronic infection but nothing is confirmed until proven on cultures and sensitivity after getting XXXXXXX or bronchoscopy. I recommend visiting a pulmonologist and get the films reviewed again.

Wishing you a great health. Hope this has answered your query, If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
