What Does This Echocardiogram Report Indicate?

Question : My mother had an echocardiogram done and we just received the results and they said she has a dark spot near her heart. They think it may be a blood clot? Does that sound right? If so, what can be done?

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Before giving you my opinion I would like to check the echo reports by myself. Can you please upload the echo reports for me?

Based on what you are reporting it may be intra cardiac thrombus whoch may be the cause of life threatening events (stroke, pulmonary embolism).

If this is her case she should start immediately anticoagulation therapy with qumadine to prevent thrombosis.
