What Does This Endoscopy Report Indicate?

Question: Hi, Sometimes I feel little pain on chest side (left side) ,not sure why this is happening ,had all heart check ups they look fine ,I have bit tension /stress .

I went to Gastroenterologist ,he took endoscopy please find attached report.

Please Let me know if I have any major issue?If you can suggest any medications also will be good

I saw the Endoscopy report in detail.
There is no major issue as per the report.
Due to small Hiatal hernia, there will be slight discomfort in the chest and upper abdomen.
I prescribe Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole 20mg twice daily along with Levosulpiride 75mg daily.
You should avoid Pain killers, Spicy food and Masala food.
Please take small frequent feeds.
Nothing to worry. It will come down

Thanks for response doctor suggested PAN 40 mg before breakfast and ACO trust before dinner for 1 month,

I am little worried becos few times especially in night i have some discomfort in the chest like a spark feeling .

Now when using medicines it reduced but have a little bit

So is there any food habits I need to follow,I am having only curd rice and idly for past few days scared of pain,

What food I can eat ?Please guide me

Hi Sir,

Thanks for your patience,I have read about this over net and worried seeing that some times it needs surgery it seems,

Is my problem serious or curable with given medicines,Also how much time it takes for me to get back to normal life style or food

and main concern I have is will I become normal easily and early or it is an serious issue having small Hiatal hernia ,will this hernia be reduced by following diet and tablets please clarify

You can wait in Small Hiatal hernia.

Hi
Surgery is indicated in Hiatal hernia when there is severe pain in the chest due to Obstruction /Strangulation of the stomach.
You can take medicines like Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride.
You can take normal diet now.
Get endoscopy once in 6 months to know the status of Hernia or You can go for Endoscopy at another centre in XXXXXXX like ASIAN INSTITUTE OF GASTROENTEROLOGY for second opinion.
