if migraine then it can cause visual halucination and look like mirage.

I think it means migraine in eye or visual fantasies.Refraction and ocular movements should be checked.You can start tablet migrainil one per day to start with and increase up to six tablet till improves from all signs and symptoms. You may improve. Cover test can be done to detect phoria.It can cause amblyopia,since there will be anisometropia.

itis genetic and linked to migraine. also linked to hormone oestrogen.loud sound bright light can precipitate. nohistory of brain injury recorded.it affect the vision
