Question : Good morning Doctor

I just receive my fecalysis report
results pus cells 0-1/hpf . red blood cells /hpf

all other values are ok.

I have diarrhea .abdimonal pain and pain and a little blood on my anus when i go to strool.
Must I consult a doctor ot wait the evolution?

Hi,
As per your description ,you have acquired infection of the gut. It could be due to contaminated food or water.

I saw the reports too.Nothing to worry as per reports.

If the blood is coming mixed with loose stool,it could be dysentery. If blood is coming after the stool or coming even without diarrhea, it could be due to hemorrhoids or fissure in ano.

I prescribe Antibiotic like Rifaximine tablet along with Pre and Probiotic capsule to my patients with similar complaints.Results are very good.

Please take Oral rehydration salt solution .
