Question : Hi Doctor, I am 27 years trying to conceive since the last 4-5 months. This is my second cycle Today is my 15th Day and my follicle size is 27 mm ( its growing by 3 mm everyday since last 3 days) and endometrial thickness is 9.1 mm. I have not been given any HCG trigger.I want to know what are the chances of this follicle rupturing and is it too big to conceive in this cycle ? Can I still take the injection in this cycle ?
Please help.. and I have pcod in the past but recent follicular study stated that there is no pcos present..pls help.

Brief Answer:
Don't wait for follicle rupture spontaneously

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1. This follicle is too big to rupture now on its own. You should take injection hCG now for follicle to rupture.

2. Your past PCOD report could be wrong.

3. Take Inj. hCG and try this cycle. Don't wait for spontaneous rupture anymore.

I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Dr. Soumya

Thanks for the reply.
But my current doc says, current size is not good for HCG, so doc asked to continue till 13 days with nimogest200.

So, can you please suggest me whether should go for HCG or wait n continue with medicine.

Please advice me upto what size good for HCG, also the consequences if i miss HCG with current size.
