Question: I was wondering what would be the long term effects on my Labrum tear and my elbow tear, if I don't seek surgery....? This happen 3 years ago. I was informed with rest that my elbow can heal. Its a 3 year injury and still have the pain with tingling and numbness. Could that be from the Labrum tear and not the elbow?

Brief Answer:
Tingling and numbness are due to elbow.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached report. There is degenerative tear of the superior labrum but rotator cuff is intact. Since it is a degenerative tear, it is difficult to heal on its own and can cause a chronic pain. Bot the tingling and numbness is more likely to be due to elbow tear.
It is better to consult a specialist and see if surgery is feasible to control the pain.
I hope this answers your query.
