Question: Should I be concerned about gram stain for a bronchial alveolar lavage reflecting rare squamous epithelial cells, few polys, rare mixed gram positive and negative organism with no specific type predominating?

Your gram stain report of bronchial alveolar lavage shows normal cytology.So no need to worry.Rare few gram positive and gram negative organisms with squamous cells are the normal flora of the respiratory tract.So no need to worry.
