Brief Answer:
as explained.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your concern about the reports of your mother and to know the reasons for the sudden pain in the backside of the abdomen and blood in the urine today morning. Now there is frequency in urination and the pain in the back remains.

The reports you have posted are all supportive to the symptoms your Mother has.
The urine shows the pus cells, RBC and albumin +, all indicative of a stone and infection both.
The Ultrasonography shows fullness of the kidney (mild left hydronephrosis) and hence the pain. This pain will settle once the obstruction is relieved.

Please continue the treatment as advised by your Doctor.
If required further tests may be needed like intravenous Pyelography (IVP) and which ever your Doctor may feel the need of.

I hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
plenty of oral fluids, no diet chanel, continue treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Obviously the stone got dislodged from the PU junction hence that the obstruction got released, so also the pain
This is a good news, the better news will be when the stone is completely out of the body.

No special diet is required, nor should you restrict anything please.
Let her diet be as per her choice.

Continue the medicines as advised by your Doctor and ask her to take more water.
Any stone which passes through ureter will eventually pass out of body, rarely needing assistance.

As per your previous answer, is this the final thing i.e, obstruction and the stone which comes outside.

And also please let me know if we need to consult doctor again.

Brief Answer:
Get confirmation later by one Ultrasonography and Consult Doctor once

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX This is a great news you have given.
Seen the picture and really got relieved now that your Mother will be fine.
You are absolutely right, This is the final stage if this was the only stone/s that wee in the urinary system.
It is always the best policy to continue the full course of treatment till the urinary infection is fully settled. This may be 3 weeks treatment.
It is also better to have one consultation with Her treating Doctor and an ultrasonography to confirm tat the hydronephrosis is gone and there are no remaining stones. This confirmation is good for future.

Continue to have plenty of oral fluids.

Great!
She will be fine.

Hi Sir,

This is XXXXXXX again, my mother is al right now but sometimes she was feeling a little pain in the back yesterday. Now she is fine. I just want to clarify few things since we have to take care of her not to repeat these in future.

1. Since 2011 she is having Thyroid and she is taking currently 75 mg of dose everyday.
2. She lost weight from the past 3-4 months, we are able to observe the change in her weight, not much but I can tell she lost around 5-10 kg s. (Is this due to Thyroid or because of the stone in the kidney).
3. Sometimes she feels very anxiety and tension regarding our life and our future. Because of the anxiety and tension also these happens or are these also the symptoms of the stone in the kidney.
4. Please let us know the diet to follow, she is a house wife and what are the precautions to be taken.

Thanks XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
as explained.

Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome XXXXXXX

Noted all the 4 points you have put in as above.
To Elucidate more on these points:
Noted taking 75 microgram dose daily. Please see that the Thyroid Function tests are done regularly at least every 6 months. It should be estimation of Free T3, Free T4 and TSH. If this is normal, same dose is continued and if any change, the dosage also needs to be changed.

Loosing weight has many many reasons. This is definitely not due to stone in the kidney. This may be due to anxiety, worries, overdose of thyroid, loss of interest or may be any other problems. Clinical evaluation by a Physician (MD, Medicine) can help.

Mother is always a Mother, worries about the children all the time. The worries can be reduced only if She feels that everything is going as per her expectations, try to find and fulfill her expectations and she will be fine.

Diet: As I said earlier, the diet should be the one which suits her. Practically there is no restrictions as far as her present problems are considered. She is already loosing her weigh, hence please do not restrict her anything at the moment.

All the best, Do not worry, she will be fine. Have regular follow-up, keep her cheerful,.
And a word of precaution: Since she is 50 there will be many peri-menopausal changes and if required, have one opinion of a XXXXXXX Gynecologist to evaluate her in this regard; this may explain her worries and other symptoms.

Please feel free to communicate anything .
I shall be happy to assist you.
