Suggestive of normal sputum.

Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Good morning.
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
I appreciate your concern for your beloved mother.
I have gone through the attached report of your mother's sputum analysis.
I am of the opinion that these are the normal findings.
Gram positive cocci in short chains and pairs are normal harmlessl flora of the lung. However, if a culture and sensitivity test is negative for the growth then what is seen in gram stain is only harmless bacteria.
Kindly provide the following:
Is she suffering from fever, cough, difficulty in breathing or productive cough?
Has she taken a course of antibiotics? If yes, then for how many days?
Kindly provide the details of the prescribed treatment.
