Brief Answer:
Life style modifications AND Drugs needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

HDL is good cholesterol – higher, the better.
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better. .. In the absence of any other risk factor 100 is ideal for LDL-C. In the presence of other diseases (especially Diabetes and/or established heart disease), 70 should be the aim.
Your level is rather high – it cannot be controlled by diet alone / you need both life style changes AND rugs

Triglycerides – Normal less than 150 mg/dL \ Borderline : 150 - 199 mg/dL \ High : 200 - 499 mg/dL

Keep your weight to normal / even a little less
Quit smoking, if you are a smoker
Do regular EXERCISE – say walking or jogging - 30 minutes a day / at least 5 days in a week. Isometric exercise (like bull worker) is bad.
Healthy FOOD is a must. Avoid saturated fats – coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, full cream milk...Avoid junk foods in particular – French fries have palm oil / Pizza has cheese / XXXXXXX sweets are made in ghee.../ Change to Poly-un-saturated oil – like sun flower oil. / Include Mono-un-saturated oil – Olive oil.

Drugs are also necessary. There are some classes – the best known are the statins / the most common is Atorvastatin… the dose is 10 to 80 mg…. We usually start 20 mg a day /step up to 40, if high after 2 months / another drug from a second class (like Ezetimibe) is added, if still not controlled….
your doctor will give appropriate prescription

Repeat the test in 2 months.
Keep following up with your doctor /

Good luck
God bless you

Brief Answer:
YES - Lefetime

Detailed Answer:
Hi

For a long life, the medicines must be continued lifelong

Because, it is a risk factor for heart attack and stroke.. but IS TREATABLE

We are treating only the effect / we cannot treat the cause! - it is manufactured in the liver – and that is determined by heredity (genes). Environment, including diet, has a definite but limited role

Regards
