Brief Answer:
Only HBV DNA,LIVER FUNCTION TEST AND ULTRASOUND ABDOMEN ONCE IN 6 MONTHS

Detailed Answer:
HI,
He is been diagnosed hepatitis B in 2001 and till now his liver enzymes are normal no ALT elevation or low albumin ,Now you can consider couple of blood tests like HBV DNA (Quantitative) ,Liver function test and an ultrasound abdomen to know the liver status and a gastroscopy to rule out esophageal varices .
If every thing is normal then no need to worry just regular follow up every 6 months with HBV DNA, LFT and USG abdomen is enough.
If any abnormality then please kindly consult a gastroenterologist for further management.
Hope this information help you
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
There is almost negligible chance of seminal transformation to wife

Detailed Answer:
hi,
your son can actually plan for children ,there is negligible chances of virus transformation from semen, only precaution is if wife is not vaccinated get a vaccination done to her to be on safer side.
And regarding gastroscopy 2001 is normal but he need to get repeat gastroscopy for screening for varix again and get all other investigation which i asked above for further management
Thank you

Sir,
I agree with you ,but i want to tell you that at that time (2002) myself and my wife also go for hepatitis b test and diagnosed positive this means that virus of hepatitis was transfer from we to our son.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
From mother to child there are high chances of transferring

Detailed Answer:
Exactly the virus might have transferred from mother but there are really less chances from father to mother ,so I advised in my last reply for complete vaccination to wife ,so that the chances will be negligible .
And regular follow up with your doctor.
thank you
