What Does This Lumbar MRI Report Indicate?

Question: MRI OF L.S.SPINE report staes "lumber IV disc show variable desiccation with variable loss of height.
L4-5 level Canal APD 12.0 mm.
Diffuse annular bulge with bilateral recess narrowing with bilateral recess narrowing with exiting nerve root impingement .Ligamentum flavum appear normal . No significant facetal arthropathy is noted----REPORTS DTD.18TH. MAY 2015.
Dr.(neuro) prescribed the following tablets FOR 30 days:
1.REJUNEX-CD3,
2.BACLOF-20,
3.GABAPIN-100
4LUPIRTIN-P
5.SHINORAB-20
6.CEHAM-500
After 30 days the patient (female-55yrs.) was fine and again checked up with the doctor on 17th. june2015 and advise to add "quogress' medicine(one in 2 days interval).
Question:
Shall the patient need to continue the medicine when pain would recurr?

She needs to do regular spinal exercises(physiotherapy).Please consult an expert physiotherapist and learn correct technique of spinal exercises.If done with dedication,these will prevent further relapse of symptoms.

Is somehow,symptoms relapse in future,anti-neuralgic medicines like gabapin may be taken again.

Thanks for being in follow-up.

Anti-neuralgic medicines(like gabapin) needs to be tapered after symptoms are controlled well and gradually stopped after a period of 2-4 weeks.Calcium and Vitamin D (Rejunex-CD3) can be continued later as well.

Typically, 1-2 months of medicines coupled with physiotherapy brings improvement in symptoms.
I have no experience in alternative medicine.You can better talk to the respective specialists about the expert opinion on Homeopathy/Acupuncture.
