Brief Answer:
Critical-Poor prognosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I have gone through the images you have uploaded.I must say he has suffered a severe intracranial damage. There appears to be skull bone fracture with a massive damage to underlying brain tissue.A large left frontal brain hematoma is obvious causing a significant midline shift(mass effect).Injury is very serious and chances of recovery is such cases are usually not good.

He must be at a place with a good Neurosurgery department with ICU facility. He is probable to need neurosurgical intervention.

NIMHANS at XXXXXXX is a good centre. In private XXXXXXX hospital or Apollo hospital(both at Bangalore) can be considered.

I feel sorry for the emotional trauma, you might have been going through at present.

If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)

Hi XXXX,

NIMHANS holds a large department of Neurosurgery(many neurosurgeons) headed by Dr.S.Sampath.
