What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Question: Hi Dr,

This is XXXX XXXXXXX age 35 years not married yet. few months ago you advised me to get semen analysis test. today I have done my semen analysis test and am attaching the report for the same. Request you to kindly review my report and advise me.I will be waiting for your valuable suggestion.

I have gone through the attached semen analysis report and found it completely normal. The sperm count and morphology, which are most important thing to father a child are excellent if I consider current population standards.

I mean to say that semen analysis report do not indicate anything abnormal with your sperm count. You may argue that volume is less but it is quite OK to have just one ml and father a child.

My last question is what is the suitable girl age that I can marry. because I am already 35 years. because some people and some of my friends are saying after 35 years age very difficult to get baby (become Father)

I do not think there is right answer for your question. Any girl who matches your personality, likes and dislikes is best option.

However conventionally speaking a girl who is 3-5 year younger than will be right match for you.

Regarding baby it is true that fertility drops substantially after attaining 35 years in girls but this is not true for all. Girls can get pregnant upto 45 years of age in current scenario where modern facilities are available.

In regard to men there is nothing called age bar when you consider capacity to have a children.
