doctor

Brief Answer:
normally 7 to 10 days

Detailed Answer:
HI

The course for most antibiotics is a week to 10 days

You can try flucloxacillin or dicloxacillin. Both of these are used 4 times a day.

If 4 times a day is difficult then you can use an alternative, augmentin and trimethoprim/sulfamethozole are used twice daily

Cephalexin is used every 6 or 8 hours.

Your doctor can choose one of these, he or she may try the fluclox or diclox first or the augmentin
They are all effective

Brief Answer:
either the augmentin or trimetho/sulf would be fine

Detailed Answer:
HI

You can use either the augmentin or trimet/sulf for 10 days ,not both.

In many cases of staph aureus, flucloxacillin or dicloxacillin is tried first before considering other antibiotics
