Brief Answer:
Please provide the full report of stool examination...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I understand your concern.

You have provided the report of complete blood count, which was fine so far.

However, you are also saying that your stool sample came out positive. Can you please provide the full stool test report? I need to have a look at it myself before running into final conclusions.

Please take note that stool examination could be abnormal although blood tests are ok. That means that the problem is inside your bowels and not affecting your other organs.

Thank you.

okay. I don't have the stool sample results. I got an email from my ARNP that said:

Hi XXXXXXX
I tried to call you home phone, but the call would not go through. I will try again on Monday.

The test on your stool came back positive.
This can be related to what you ate or some of your medications.
Please contact the clinic and speak with a nurse for next steps about this results.

Thank you for letting me be a part of your care.

Brief Answer:
Ok,please give more details on health problems you are having now...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back dear XXXXXXX

Ok, I have received your e-mail and communication with the nurse there. I think the nurse thought you might know what test was done. However, please wait for Monday reply and try to get relaxed not to worry unnecessarily.

Meanwhile, can you please give more details on symptoms or health problems you are currently having for which you had stool/blood tested?

Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoids as the main cause especially if constipated...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

If the test resulted positive for blood, then, there are 2 main explanations:
- there is bleeding in your gastrointestinal tract. The first thing that comes in my mind is hemorrhoids especially if you have been suffering of constipation recently.
- any other source of bleeding in your GI tract if not hemorrhoids that should be further tested through colonoscopy and abdominal ultrasound.

All the other parameters are within normal range.

Let me know if you have further queries.

Thank you Dr, Albana. You have put me at ease. I was so scared that I had cancer. I know that you and I don't know if I have it or not, but I do know that I need that colonoscopy. I just wanted to take the time and thank you so very much for your analysis. God bless you. You are amazing. Have a merry Christmas.

Sincerely yours,
