Brief Answer:
There might be mild digestive problem, not a serious concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The attached report has also been seen.

The following is expected in a normal stool sample

1. Reaction 6.2 to 7.0 pH and you have it acidic and this is acceptable and this depends on the nature of foods you have taken before giving sample.
2. The unformed stool can indicate inadequate digestion, mild inflammation or infection in your case.
3. WBC/ HPF 0 to 1 is normal and 2-3 in your case can indicate it as mild infection.
4. undigested starch-present and this shows inadequate digestion.
5. vegetable fibres- present in small amounts is acceptable
6. bacterial flora- present in small amounts is normal

There is no worms, eggs or blood in stools and this is a good thing.

Therefore from the above report there might be mild digestive problem. This is not a serious condition.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Please find details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

If you have occasional pain under the ribs on the right side for a minute, especially after having fatty foods then it might be due to gall stones and an ultrasound scan needs to be done to know if you have any stones.

Please avoid taking gas forming foods like cabbage and beans. Take simple foods and take food at same time everyday. Avoid too much fats and oils.

If the stools is still changing frequently from semisolid to liquid then you require a colonoscopy to know if there is any condition in your large intestine causing intermittent solid and liquid stools and passage of gas when you feel like passing stools.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
