What Does This Stool Test Report Indicate?

Question: XXXXXXX

Over the last few years I've had a strange taste in my mouth, white tongue, loose stools and very, very occasionally a little bit of stomach pain. Anyway, recently I did a stool test and the results were fine apart from e coli being very high. I was just hoping for some advice on what to do next please. Should I go to my local doctor for antibiotics or go straight to a gastroenterologist? Thanks so much.

Brief Answer:
Should go for sensitivity

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in

Your symptoms are pointing to gastritis and/or collitis

Having it confirmed on stool report it is advisable you ask the laboratory to get a sensitivity report done

In the mean time take a good probiotic twice a day

Avoid junk, fried fermented and fried foods

Add a proton pump inhibitore like Pantoprazole 40 mg twice a day

Hope this helps
