Question : I am 68 and have a testosterone level of 390. My doctor won't prescribe anything for it. Am I getting the normal treatment?
Brief Answer:
Opinion of your doctor accepatble to me. Check oth
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
I understand how disturbing this could be. Its true from your medical history you got issues with your drive and impotence.
A blood testosterone level of 390 is within the normal limits of testosterone. Normal values should range from 240 to 950 ng/ dl generally.
I am afraid I totally agree with your treating physician that nothing is required to be done with respect to drug prescription with testosterone. I would suggest other causes of low sexual drive or impotence be checked for.
Thanks and kind regards. Do feel free asking further questions in case of need.
