Question : Hi Doctor,

Am finding my baby boy right eye is bit smaller than left eye so that have consulted doctor and there they recommended thyroid Test. below are the results , so could you please verify and let me know on is everything fine or not?

FYI,
Baby age close to 3 months old.
TOTAL TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T3) C.L.I.A 180 ng/dl 60 - 200 TOTAL THYROXINE (T4) C.L.I.A 10.6 μg/dl 4.5 - 12.0 THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE ( TSH ) C.L.I.A 3.57 μIU/ml 0.30 - 5.5 Comments :SUGGESTING THYRONORMALCY Please correlate with clinical conditions.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The report of the thyroid profile is indeed normal. The difference in size of eyes is seemingly unrelated and is likely to be a congenital variation in development. You need not get apprehensive about it.
