Question : Hi,
I just had my usual thyroid test. I had been diagnosed many years ago as being hypothroid and have been taking synthroid 0.075 mg. I have been okay on this so far. However, in my last test a few days ago, my readings were:
TSH= 1.24
FT4=19
FT3=4.6
What does this mean?

Brief Answer:
This is all normal!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

This test readings are in the normal range. This suggests that your hypothyroid state is being well managed. I am also sure you have no related symptoms to report.
This is what we long to see on clients on treatment.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Dear Doctor Ditah,
Thank you for your quick reply. I am very relieved. As you mentioned, I do not have any symptoms. I feel fine. Except that I have naseau once in a while when I eat too much fatty foods. I went to an Iridologist and he said that my gall bladder was weak. So I have been taking some supplements that I found online for gallblader support, it contains vic c, mag, dandelion root, beetroot, taurine, milk thistle phosphatidycholiine, pancrelipase, inositol, betaine and alpha lipoic acid. This supplement has been helping me a lot.
Do you think this is good? XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
If you witnessed reliefe, thn I will say it is good!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

There is no better way at understanding what is going on than trying it out. You can tell you are feeling a lot better using it and I will have no grounds to think this is not good for you. I will say keep using it. However, I really don't know what your doctor referred to when he talked of a weak gall bladder.

I wish you well.

Do you think it could be my liver that is causing my naseau? Should I have my liver tested? Can this cause naseau?

Brief Answer:
Unlikely!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is unlikely for your liver to cause nausea. However, I will like to know for how long this has been going on and what other symptoms you may have.

I await your response.

Dear Doctor,
This naseau has been going on for about 2 1/2 years now. 2 years ago I would be at the office at work and feel naseau and dizzy. This would last about 1 week or more. This would happen again another year later. Then 1 year ago it happened again and I went to the Iridologist and he said it was caused by my gall bladder. He also said that my body was acidic. He told me not to eat certain foods. Since I have been using the gallbaldder supplement, it has helped me a lot and when I feel better I would forget about taking it. Then when I feel naseaus again, I would take it.
Thanks.
The only other health problems I have are the hypothyroidism and asthma for which I take Symbicort, 1 puff twice a day which prevents my asthma symptoms. XXXXXXX
