Question : I am 25 week pregnant . I am on tyronorm from last 10 years and from last one and a half year i am on 175mg tyronorm . My TSH level were ok till recently but last week when i conducted the test results are as given below:
FT4:1.07
FT3:2.99
TSH:8.68

is it a worry? can i increase the dose without causing any harm to baby ? is higher TSH harmful for baby and me?

Hi,

I understand your concerns about high TSH.

High TSH does cause abortion in some women. You need to increase the dose soon. But before that I want you to confirm the TSH levels again by testing in a different laboratory.

If it's still high you can increase dose.
