What Does This Ultrasound Report During Pregnancy Indicate?

I am pregnant for 7.1 weeks and I have undergone Ultra Scan today. Found No Foetal node. I am worried. Please help !
My last period was on 3rd August. 2016, as per this date I must have been 5+ Week Pregnant but in report it shows 7.1 Week.
Please suggest. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
foetal pole arrives by 6-8 weeks POG , from LMP. So wait 10 days...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
Please don't be worried. You are correct that you are 5 weeks + 3 days pregnant , when counted from the last menstrual period. However i feel the scan has been done 2 weeks early since the foetal pole convincingly arrive by 6-8 th week of gestation, when foetal heart beat can also be seen.
The mean sac diameter ( MAS) can differ from the period of gestation and is not to be taken in account. The clinical significance of MAS is no more than confirming that there is an intrauterine pregnancy and the period of gestation as calculated by MAS is considered only if the woman doesn't remember her Last menstrual period or have irregular cycles where best date of conception is estimated with MAS. This is not the case with you.
So you should be counting yourself from the LMP itself and you should get a review scan done after 10 days to check for foetal pole and heart beat, which would naturally arrive by then.
I hope I have answered your query,
Regards

In addition to my query, I am little bit confuse that is my report of 7.1 weeks is true or my assumption of 5.3 weeks is true and if report is true that is 7.1 weeks how critical is it or it is normal. Waiting for next 10 days is very difficult to me.
Please suggest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thats what i clarified above that you are true, and sac diameter is not to be measured. The correct estimation sonologically is the CRL or the crown rump length, that can be done once foetal pole arrives.
Your pregnancy is fine and you have to wait for next 10 days anyhow.
Regards

you are welcome.
