Question : Dir, i have received ultra sound scanning report of my wife today. in this report Excess for gestatinnal age - AFI: 25.2 CM and single live fetus of 36 weeks 3 days of Gestution in cephulic presentation with Hydramnious. is this okay? My doctor saying for delivery via operation within 10-15 days. due to excess Hydramnious. Please advice me. i cant aware operation expenses.

Hi,

I understand your concerns.

There is no need of delivery by surgery ( operation).

This is just upper margin of normal and not really very high liqor ( hydramnios) . This is normal and might reduce in few days.

I dont think there is any need of operation.

Please change your obstetrician. I think present doctor wants to just operate.

What i have to do know madam? Is there any doctor in XXXXXXX for guide me? ( please give reference) kind request. Our present doctor given injection Betnesol today & advised for another dose of this tomorrow also. Is it necessary for my child.

Betnasol is not necessary at this stage of pregnancy. Anyway complete the course since you have already started it.
