Question : Have just had ultrasound regarding my last entry. They said most likely a benign fatty cyst that has developed due to excercise. Appears to be attached to muscle. Doc said this type of thing can sometimes be close to bone (which is not). Thank you for your advice - it reassured me before i had the ultrasound. XXXX

Brief Answer:
This does not need any surgery

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Ultrasound has confirmed that it is just a fluid collection from joint and nothing serious. If you want then it can be aspirated through needle. Surgical removal is also possible. If at present there is no pain then you can ignore it.
thanks
