Question : Thank you for your answer. Yes I was pleased with the diagnoses. I ended up going for an ultrasound and they said it was a cyst - but fatty cyst attached to the muscle -lympoma. Didn't recommend it be removed as it was on the muscle. Ultrasound indicated it was benign. ANy further advice from you re medication would be helpful!

Lipoma is a good news. Its a benign lesion indeed and quite common actually. As it is benign, does not infiltrate other tissues, so it is separated from the muscle. That is why can be removed for cosmetic reasons.
But for sure it is not cancerous and does not turn into a cancer.
