Brief Answer:
Please consult your doctor to evaluate causes for splenomegaly

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

1. Gall bladder is collapsed after meals and ingesting milk products. This is not abnormal until specified. Therefore your gall bladder was collapsed probably due to normal reasons.

2. No evidence of intra and extra hepatic biliary radical dilatation means there is no obstruction to the flow of bile and this is normal.

3. Mild splenomegaly can be there due to mild infection. For this you should get examined by your doctor and confirm any infection after doing blood tests. In some people mild splenomegaly can happen without infection and this is non specific and does not require treatment.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
Please get gall bladder review scan in empty stomach if needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

A collapsed gall bladder is normal if you had fat containing food and liquids before the scan.

If you have pain in gall bladder region then you can get a review scan done in empty stomach to make sure it has no stones or any conditions causing pain. In empty stomach the gall bladder is well visualised.

A collapsed gall bladder does not require any attention by itself.

Your splenomegaly is mild and in upper limit of normal. It is important to know what symptoms you are having. Treatment is required only if you are having clinical symptoms which can explain splenomegaly. In many of my patients spleen size 12.6 cm is normal.

Therefore please do not panic and get detailed testing done only if required and after clinical examination of your problems.

Hope your query is answered.
