Question : My daughter who is 25wks pregnant was told her on a previous ultrasound showed a placenta previa...just touching the cervix.
Now a recent ultrasound presented with a large(>7mm) pacenta lake.
I've read a lot on both issues, but never found the correlation between the two and any risk factors for both my daughter or the baby.

Brief Answer:
Not a risk factor

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I can understand your concerns about placenta Previa.

25 weeks is very early pregnancy and placenta Previa is nor a concern at this stage.

Placental migration starts now and placenta is likely to move upwards from cervix so that the risk is minimized.

I don't see any reason to worry about placenta Previa as of now.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards
