What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: **Asking this question again since it was unanswered from last week**

A recent ultrasound of my carotid arteries found a "significant peak systolic ICA velocity or velocity ratio elevation". My doctor (PA) never mentioned this, I only noticed it on the report myself. I've attached the various flow velocity measurements, would it be possible to provide some possible causes for this finding?

Brief Answer:
There are no plaques mentioned in your report,so it may be assumed normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to HealthcareMagic,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

Increased PSV(peak systolic velocity)is interpreted with narrowing due to plaque in carotid artery.
If there are no plaques visible during doppler then usually it is not concerning.

Hope I have answered your query.

It may be considered as individual variation in your case without any reason.
It is generally due to stenosis in arteries which is not applicable in your case.
I advise to go for repeat doppler after six months.
