Question : Imaging has revealed that I have bilateral renal cysts on my kidneys and fatty infiltration of the liver. What does this mean?
Brief Answer:
nothing serious
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Renal cysts are benign lesions and this is common finding in heathy peope. You didnt mention size but if these are less than 5 cm and no cancerous features are found then there is no need for any treatment.
Fatty liver is also not harmful and it indicates small degree of liver damage due to fatty diet, alcohol consuption or certain medication. You need to reduce fats and alchohol in your diet and thats all. Wish you good health. Regards
