Question : Hello Doctor,

My wife is 8 months pregnant. On advise of her Gynecologist, she has done a urine routine test. Attached are the latest (XXXX_Dec16_UR) and previous urine routine report (XXXX_June16_UR) done in XXXXXXX this year. Could you please review and suggest. Thanks for the help.

Hello sir, thanks for writing your query.
Her previous urine report is almost normal as pus cells upto 5/hpf are acceptable.
But the latest report is suggesting urine infection so she needs to get a urine culture at the earliest and start antibiotics after giving sample gor culture without waiting for report.
I usually give nitrofurantoin tablet daily thrice a day for 7 days.
Drink a lot of water till then.
