Question : Dear Sir, please see my urine report, do u think that niftas 100 mg is sufficient for me? I am just worried that when i stopped my medicines then it will come up again. its been 4 week since i am taking these, how long i should continue? my urologist suggested to take until 6 weeks.

Thanks for query and uploading recent urine culture report .There is evidence of presence of any bacteria or active infection .

You may stop taking antibiotic however Nitrofurantoin is an urinary antiseptic and being advised as a prophylaxis .

In view of you having long standing urinary infection I would suggest you to continue taking it for few more weeks .
