What Does This Urine Test Result For Lower Back Pain Indicate?
Question: hi had lower back pain and pain on left abdominal side today, did a urine dip stick this evening 2 hours after eating and showed glucse trace, blood tract intact and protien 1+. not sure what it means or even connected.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in abdomen on left side (Loin).

1) Do you have any other urinary symptom like frequency.burning .urgency etc associated with pain ?
The pain in loin is mostly due to presence of stone either in kidney or Ureter.
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Blood sugar levels (Fasting and Post meal) to rule out Diabetes.
In the mean while take antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin with anti spasmodic like Spasmo proxyvon twice daily along with urine alkaliser thrice daily.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
