What Does This Uroflowmetry Study Report Indicate?

Question: Dear Sir, Please see my results for the uroflow and suggest what it means?Is this normal or do you see that any thing hindering the flow?

Thanks for query .

Your Uroflowmetry study revealed average urine flow (8.7 ml) which is lower than normal value for your age (18-20 ml).This suggests there is obstruction to flow of urine .This could be due to one of the following two reasons
1)Chronic Prostatitis that you have since 6 months
2) Bladder Neck Obstruction

The precise cause can be confirmed only on endoscopic examination of urethral passage and bladder .(Cystoscopy)
