What Does This Vaginal Culture Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hello, i went to my gynocologist for itching and some yeast. They did a culture and it came back positive for yeast. And negative for trich, chylamida and gynorheaa. It did say the result for bv came back equivocol. Not sure what that means, she just said it doesnt mean you have it...So the nurse said to treat for the yeast infection. For the most part all my symptoms disappeared and i have not even treated the yeast infection yet. I started to have a completely clear discharge and ovary pain, but i am in the middle of my cycle so i thought this could be ovulation. I have no fever, and no other symptoms. What should i do in this case? Should i still treat the yeast infection?
Could the equivicol bv result be caused by the yeast infection?

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
If the vaginal culture has suggested a yeast infection then it needs to be treated even if you are asymptomatic. Yest infections are notorious for recurrences. So, a complete treatment is necessary.
