Question : Hello doctor, my girl friend is complaining of tingling in the anus and she sticked tissue paper into her anus and it came with blood stains.

Please doctor, I need a urgent response on this issue and drugs to use. she just took a drug for worm on Friday morning

Thank you for the query.

First of all please try to relax as this is nothing serious. This is not caused by any worms. Most probable reason of such symptoms are hemorrhoids.
Tingling, itching around anus are typical symptoms of hemorrhoids. Blood on the toilet paper is also very characteristic.
The main cause of hemorrhoids are constipation, bad diet, pushing hard on stool.

She should start fiber intake, drink plenty of mineral water, use OTC suppositories for hemorrhoids, wash anus after every stool and try sitz baths with an Oak Bark.
