Question : I am 42 year , since last three months no mmonthly period , when visted doctor , after scanning , they found bulky uterus with Rt cyst 4.1x2.6 cm , now they given cytolog tab for D & C what to do

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
In my opinion there is no need to get d&c done.
Rather you just need to take oral contraceptive pills for 3 months which will resolve the cyst and also regulate periods.
Then after 3 months get a repeat scan which will decide the further course of action.
In case cyst persists even after 3 cycles of oral pills then d&c will be needed.
Discuss this aspect with your doctor and then let her decide the further course.
