Question : My mother at the age of 60 observed one day bleeding happening. Doctors said normal but asked for Biopsy. Is this something serious.

Thanks for the query,
Any bleeding per vaginally in post menopausal women should be investigated for ruling out any cervical or uterine cancer. So a per speculum examination, a pap smear and a transvaginal ultrasound pelvis and if required an endometrial biopsy is required to rule out above possible cancers.
