Hello,

Bipolar disorder is a mood disorder. This occurs in episodes of mania or mania and depression. If there is no impairment in functioning of individual in social, occupational or personal domain then individuals with bipolar can even function normally in their lives.

If bipolar persists for long then behavioral symptoms can go in chronic course. Mood might become worse, irritability can become persistent. This affects social, personal or occupational functioning.
