Brief Answer:
They are not removed as they are benign.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for query dear.

A hyperplastic polyp is a growth of tissue from the inner lining of the colon into the lumen of the colon. Polyps are often non-cancerous growths but some can develop into cancer. The two most common types of polyps found in the colon and rectum include: Hyperplastic and inflammatory polyps. Usually these polyps do not carry a risk of developing into cancer.
No treatment or surgical removal is done if polyps are hyperplastic as they don't have any malignant potential.
However screening sigmoidoscopy should be done once every 2 years.

Thanks!
