The most common infections which cause left lower abdominal pain are following
- infection of colon by organism like campylobacter/shigella/E.coli/yersinia/salmonella
-infection of diverticuli(pouch coming out from colon) by organism like E-coli etc
-infection of seminal veiscle by pseudomonas aeruginosa/streptococci/staphylococci/mycoplasma species etc.
-infection of urinary tract by proteus/e-coli leading to stone formation.
there are many organism which alone or in combination may cause infection of these organs. I have mentioned most common infectious cause of left lower abdominal pain.
